Background and Disturbance History

All landscapes have a history, influenced both by natural events and human activities.  Prior to undertaking this long-term, spatially-diverse study of timber harvest effects, we assembled a “Contextual Analysis” to understand more fully the history and influences on the environments we would be studying.  This exercise helped us design and implement our overall “Study Plan.” Access these documents using the links below:
